Contacting Eon

When you contact us, we use the name, email address, organisation and message you provide to respond to your enquiry and manage the resulting correspondence. Please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential project documents in the website form.

Our website hosting and email service providers may process this information on our behalf to operate the website and deliver correspondence. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Website hosting is provided by DigitalOcean. When the contact form is enabled, Resend processes enquiry emails for delivery to Eon. These providers may process information outside your country. The server retains a delivery-queue copy of each enquiry; copies accepted by the email provider are deleted from the active queue after 30 days. Copies requiring manual delivery review remain until resolved. Email correspondence and protected backups have separate retention periods.

Website analytics

Where enabled, we use Matomo to understand which pages visitors find useful. Analytics starts only after you choose to allow it. The website disables Matomo analytics cookies and does not send your form content, name or email address to Matomo.

Your analytics choice is stored in your browser so that we can remember it. You can change it using “Analytics preferences” in the footer when analytics is enabled. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website or contact form.

Corporate video

The corporate video is hosted directly by Eon Minerals using video files served from the same website. It plays only when you choose to start it. No third-party video platform is contacted to display or play the video.

Server information

Web infrastructure may record information such as request times, requested pages, error information and IP addresses to deliver and secure the service. This is separate from optional website analytics.

Retention and access

We retain enquiry correspondence as needed to respond, maintain relevant business records and meet applicable obligations. Contact us if you would like to ask about information you have provided, correct it or request its deletion, subject to applicable retention obligations.
